J&J WiSTEM2D Partnership with Quality Champions
Johnson & Johnson launched their J&J WiSTEM2D initiative in 2015 to champion the success of women by providing them with the tools, resources and opportunities they need to succeed at work and home. WiSTEM2D stands for Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Manufacturing and Design, and J&J is taking groundbreaking action to drive positive change for women of all ages in the STEM2D ecosystem. In addition to the extensive resources J&J provides women around the world, J&J has partnered with Quality Champions to raise awareness of the free Quality Science Education Program offered by Quality Champions. This partnership is reaching more women and preparing them for lifelong, fulfilling careers.
U.S. Department of Economic Development, Wistar Institute and Pathway Partnership with Quality Champions
The U.S. Economic Development Administration awarded The Wistar Institute and Pathway for Patient Health the STEM Challenge Talent Grant Award to create the new Quality Science Pathway Apprenticeship (QSPA). Wistar and Pathway are excited to offer this apprenticeship cost-free for students. The grant specifies the Quality Science Education Program as the educational courses, along with the Wistar Apprenticeship Program, which provides on-the-job training and instruction for Quality Science roles in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. The Pathway Quality Science Education Program is offered through and managed by Quality Champions for Life.
The U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development, Alejandra Y. Castillo, visited the Wistar Institute to personally announce the grant award. The QSPA uniquely addresses a critical gap in higher education and workforce training programs, by pre-training students to join a rapidly evolving industry.
The City Tutors and Quality Champions Partner to Support the Success of NYC Students
The City Tutors supports underserved students in NYC who have been historically locked out of individualized academic and professional development services. First generation and immigrant students attend college, study hard and often juggle a survival-job or two - leaving them no time for professional preparedness. The free tutoring and mentoring support of The City Tutors, and the free Quality Science Education and Hiring Platform through Quality Champions, create a road to success that these students so desperately need. Everyone deserves a chance to shine, and we are excited to give this opportunity to the students of New York City.
Pathway for Patient Health Partnership with Quality Champions
Pathway for Patient Health is the philanthropic arm of Quality Champions for Life. Pathway develops, maintains and updates the Quality Science Education Program courses, homework assignments, exams, answer keys, and study guides for over 100 classes. Pathway donates use of the Hiring Platform, helps gain volunteer support for: teaching Quality Science Education classes at universities, grading student coursework, sharing educational and professional journeys; and creates awareness of the program globally. The Quality Science Education Program was the first initiative chartered by the Pathway Chief Quality Officer Team in 2018 in an effort to organically grow quality co-ownership across the industry. Pathway is proud to support the success of Quality Champions, and sees each student as a bright star of hope for the patients who are counting on our industry.
Disability:IN and Quality Champions Partner to Provide Opportunities to those with Disabilities
Disability:IN is the leading nonprofit resource for business disability inclusion worldwide. In support of the Disability:IN vision of attaining an inclusive global economy where people with disabilities participate fully and meaningfully, Quality Champions offers the Quality Science Education Program to students with disabilities to help launch fulfilling careers. Quality Champions provides information on upcoming opportunities to Disability:IN to share with its community, and is proud to offer the program to all students at no cost. Through the generosity of our donors, the program is fully funded for all students globally.
